Today, October 13th,2017, is the 100th anniversary of the "Miracle of the Sun" that took place in Fatima, Portugal. I would guess many people, even many Catholics, are unaware of this miracle that was witnessed by approximately 70,000 people, including reputable witnesses such as Portuguese science professor Dr. Jose Maria de Almeida Garrett and even the pro-government, anti-clerical newspaper "OSeculo" that reported on events that day. More amazing is that the reason there were 70,000 people present to witness the Miracle of the Sun is because the Blessed Virgin Mary told three Portuguese children it would happen two months before it happened. Aside from the awesome unprecedented nature of the miracle itself, the most remarkable aspects of the miracle were the predictions contained in the Blessed Virgin Mary’s messages given both before and after the miracle that came true both before and after the miracle, namely:
-The miracle itself occurred on October 13th, 1917 but the Blessed Virgin Mary foretold that the miracle would happen two months to the day (August 13th,1917) and one month to the day (September 13th, 1917) prior to the actual day of miracle, October 13th, 1917:

And what relevance does the Miracle of the Sun and the Blessed Virgin Mary’s appearances in Fatima, Portugal have to do with former IRS Criminal Investigation Division Special Agent Joseph Banister and the federal income tax system? Well, the relevance can be described as follows:
In 1848 a man named Karl Marx co-authored a book called “Manifesto of the Communist Party” more commonly known as “The Communist Manifesto”.

Chapter 2 of The Communist Manifesto summarized ten requirements or “planks” that would need to be implemented in order to achieve, among other things, “further inroads upon the old social order” and such requirements or planks would be “unavoidable as a means of entirely revolutionizing the mode of production.” The second plank called for by Marx is especially relevant to the federal income tax system:
“A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.”
Recall from earlier in this article that the Blessed Virgin Mary predicted that Russia would “spread its errors throughout the world” and that shortly after this July, 1917 prediction was made the Bolshevik revolution in November,1917 not only turned Russia into a communist nation but Russia began to earnestly spread its communist and socialist “errors” throughout the world. (An “error” in theological terms is basically a mental judgment by which something false is held to be true or something true is held to be false.)

Meanwhile, in 1913, the United States adopted a federal income tax system that certainly by the 1950s and beyond was recognized by nearly everyone as a communist mechanism, including even an IRS Commissioner who also called the income tax a “devouring evil”:
“As I said a while ago, every time we talk about these taxes we get around to the idea of from each according to his capacity and to each according to his needs. That’s socialism. It’s written into the Communist Manifesto. Maybe we ought to see that every person who gets a tax return receives a copy of the Communist Manifesto with it so he can see what’s happening to him.”

In summary, anyone with a modest degree of intelligence can understand how an income tax would be the darling of man like Karl Marx rather than a man like Thomas Jefferson. I simply find it more than a bit compelling that not only was Russia’s adoption of errors such as communism predicted in the Blessed Virgin Mary's messages before they happened but the spread of Russia’s communism (and the mechanisms of communism such as a heavy progressive or graduated income tax) throughout the world (including the United States) was also predicted before it happened. At this the 100th anniversary of the miracle that surrounded these predictions, I thought it worthwhile to bring you this bit of history so that you could ponder the events of 100 years ago and what has transpired since that time.
To those who are surprised or confounded that I would mark this anniversary with an article on my website, I can only request that you take a look at the facts and information before dismissing the phenomenon – and consider the Apostle Peter’s guidance that I take to heart before judging my actions and motives (1 Peter 3:15-16), “But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you. But with modesty and fear, having a good conscience: that where as they speak evil of you, they may be ashamed who falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.”
Of course, by writing this article I do not mean to imply that Americans can refuse to comply with the income tax laws because the concept of an income tax was the brainchild of Karl Marx or because a heavy progressive or graduated income tax is one of the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto or because the income tax is immoral. (In fact, federal appeals courts and the U.S. Supreme Court have ruled that refusing to pay income taxes based on religious beliefs or based on disagreement with how money is spent on government programs or policies or based on various moral objections is not allowed as a defense.) But I am content to point out the evil influences that begat the concept of an income tax so that you will be encouraged to learn more about the federal income tax system that was actually implemented in this country. I urge you to investigate as I have that from it’s inception in 1913 to the federal income tax-related U.S. Supreme Court decisions and tax law changes in 1916 and 1917and beyond to the deceitful obfuscation of the limitations of the federal income tax laws to the illegal administration and enforcement of the income tax laws that exist even to this day, the federal income tax has been and continues to be the largest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people. There is no need for a person to reach for a moral or religious objection to paying a tax that they were never made liable by any law to pay in the first place.
I hope you have enjoyed and learned from this article. Let us pray that God will bless our country with honorable elected and appointed leaders and that such leaders will no longer cover up for the deceitful administration and enforcement of the federal income tax beyond the boundaries of the laws passed by Congress and signed by the President. Taxation without representation begets horrible enough tyranny but so does taxation without legislation.
